On this spectacular day, the 27th of January of 2005 (2+5=7), I am pleased to announce that http://preacherman.cjb.net has reached the twenty-seven thousand mark... It is truly a joyous moment.   • 98 - Trajan becomes Roman Emperor after the death of Nerva.
  • 1186 - Henry VI, the son and heir of the Holy Roman Emperor Frederick I, married Constance of Sicily.
  • 1606 - Gunpowder Plot: The trial of Guy Fawkes and other conspirators begins and later
    ends in their execution on January 31.
  • 1695 - Mustafa II became the Ottoman sultan in Istanbul on the death of Amhed II. Mustafa ruled to 1703.

    On the 27th of January, in the year of our Lord 2000 (Millinia II), the Honourable Dr. Kenny D. Anthony addressed the nation of St. Lucia with some startling insights on the banana industry.

    As you are likely aware, Dr. Anthony is the PRIME MINISTER of that nation. Prime Minister (PM = PreacherMan). For this to have occurred on Jan 27th is obviously more than mere coincidence!
